Whose a fan of antique Jewelry?!

ME ME ME

PhotobucketPhotobucket

The girls from work and I know of this adorable little store that sells the cutest antique jewelry, shoes, belts, clothing, purses ect. Its so so so cute and the women working in there are so sweet! It just adds to the whole beautiful environment of the store. Its' kind of expensive for a thrift store. The bottom earrings were 4 dollars which were probably one of the cheapest pair. Most of them were about 7 to 10 dollars. They sold some jewelry thats very pricey along with other things. They have beautiful shoes but you have to go at the right time and grab'em! A girl I work with bought a beautiful pair of lace boots, cream, tie up. I'll take a picture of them and show you guys. More photos to come gooood night

P.S.
18 years of existence in 2 days, plus New York for 5 days. Can't wait!

WOAH.. WHAT!

Watch this and tell me exactly what you think about it! This was so beautiful, I don't think I blinked once while watching it. Chanel Spring 2010. I think more designers should do events like this in their shows. People would remember the clothing more and how could you not like the clothing? To me, Chanel never changes- and for once I mean that in a good way. It stays so classy and feminine yet every collection and show are different. I don't know how to explain it but I'm always pulled to watch the new collections because I know they will leave me shocked. Watch and comment!

(The first two dresses, oh my goodness, so marvelous. And pay attention to the shoes!)

so so so beautiful

So I went to my friends show last night in Miami and completely became inspired not only by the music, but by all the beautiful people I was surrounded by, along with their open personalities. It was beautiful and to be completely honest I havent felt connected to a group of strangers in a while.
I noticed all the girls wore black opaque or sheer pantyhose. Some with dresses, others with shorts. South Florida actually got a cold front last night hmph. I wore a high waist skirt, crop top and knee highs to keep my legs warms! Plus a simple black cardigan.
Although, one of my new favored recent styles is relaxed "unisex" pants on girls. Most girls aren't into because they don't think its flattering and blah blah blah, I've heard it, I've believed it but you can really make it look feminine.

One of my favorite designers, Chole', designed some in her spring 2010 RTW collection. Although there not unisex, they are relaxed pants for women.

I love it... you can roll up the legs too, thats what I do sometimes. Here are the unisex ones from American Apparel..

With a beautiful blouse tucked in and heels.. or even a fitted sweater tucked in.. I love enjoy seeing more girls wearing pants like these! COMMENTS!

BOY'S THERE.. HOW MANY?

Who enjoys looking at Menswear? Who likes looking at the men models? Tehe, Menswear, is always entertaining to watch. It's always beautiful men in beautiful clothing, of course.
Something interesting I saw was Micheal Kor's had mean and women sharing the catwalk together, matching.
Photobucket
This one was one of my favorites because red and black complement each other so well. The whole sheek business look will never die.
Photobucket
This look is beyond beautiful. Gray's never looked so elegant. The windbreaker on the blazer makes the whole style look more outerwear rather than business wear and same goes for the girls hat. Looove it.

Living in Florida, it actually went down to the 30's here and snowed for the first time in about 10 years but only in upper Florida. Although there was frost on my car :) I'm not really repaired for THAT cold of wear, living in Florida but I bought these two circle scarves from my work ! There very thick and keep you warmer than any scarf. They come in a variety of colors and patterns like stripes and even tydy! You can even wear it as a short tube-top dress when it warms up! http://store.americanapparel.net/rsa0503.html?cid=51

died & gone to heaven

Not really but according to my blog I probably did die ;( I've been crazy busy with work, school, college applications, the holidays and I've tired to maintain my social life -.- my computer is extremely slow and not functioning well so it was making it difficult to do anything online
BUT NOW
I have a new job at American Apparel (still located in south florida), since the holidays are over I'll be working a little bit less and have less family responsibilities. I'm halfway done with school and its all a move ride to graduation from here and college apps are sent in! Also, the old slow computer is gone and I got a beautiful Macbook for Christmas! What I'm getting at is that I have much more time now, so it looks like this blog is back up!

I got this wonderful book:

I'm sure most of you are familiar with it-- I've always wanted and ment to get it, but you know me, where does the time go..
But its very beneficial with your planning on taking on photography, fashion design, fashion marketing, journalism/blogging as a career. Highly recommended

Forgive me for my absense

Busy is an understatement of what I have been and so is stressed! I havent forgot about you readers though :-) I've been applying for colleges, like crazy, and interning, my butt off, but hey its all worth it in the end right?
For the last about two months I've been assisting model casting events & designer run-throughs prepping for this huge fashion show that is finally taking last in Miami this weekend AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.. I'm nervous, its take months of planning a fashion show and I've put my sweat and blood into fitting and dressing skinny/tall naked girls, taking head shots, scribbling down what a designer wants or as they say, NEED. I guess we'll see how it goes this weekend, expect pictures!

Until then, something on Nylon magazines website caught my eye. The latest trends hmp, and I've said it before and I'll say it plenty of times in the near future, I couldnt agree more!

FLORAL SHORTS; shorts have really made a come back, well they were never slacking in the trends really but within the last year they have created interesting trends to shorts. From high-waist to acid wash and check out these hot floral ones. Floral in general is in, but floral shorts, oh yes in deed! How cute luv it*~!

Photobucket

LACE; every girl owns something lace but lace just isn't lingerie anymore! Theres many lace dresses and casual tops. I've seen lace jean skirts, lace leotards, lace leggings, ect. I own a massive amount of lace clothing that I wear often, even in casual ways. It's sexy but appropriate.

Photobucket

Speaking of sexy but appropriate, corset's! My girl friends and I were just talking about this and it really surprises me how up to date we are with our trends (we're that good tehe). We bought the cutest corsets from Urban Outfitters whom sells them in multiple colors but mine is a floral print. Wear it with a high-waist skirt, I promise there is not one female that will look bad in a corset top (THAT FITS YOU RIGHT) and high-waist skirt. Corsets are also being incorporated with dresses like the picture above. Thats also a sexy yet indie dress. Although, I would go with the corset and high waist shorts or skirt, it will make the outfit more interesting, your able to mix match ect ;O)

Fall RTW; what's goodie!

Fall is almost like that awkward stage when the summer takes a transition to winter. Although the clothes never disappoint. Fall 2009 Read to Wear blew my mind!

Fashion's most playful designer, Betsy Johnson didn't have her typical wacky cartwheel runway show. She had a small crowd in her showroom.
Photobucket
Her new designs for Fall are still crazy and beautiful though! I WANT the gray blazer on the first picture. Its gorgeous. The shirt is something Betsy WOULD create. Her cute style. The white heel booties are awesome too.
The dress on the girl in the second photo is beautiful. It reminds me of beauty and the beast but it purple. I feel like Betsy Johnson always has to put in some form of leopard print in her lines. My favorite part of the dress is the red roses. I've seen plenty of ruffly, floral BJ dresses but nothing quite like this!

Marc Jacob's made me go insane! I've read copious blogs about the Fall rtw 09 but seeing. . . . 0.0
Photobucket
The first picture, oh my. This whole outfit is brilliant. The dark red sequent top and the black and white skirt that flares out.

Dear Mr.Jacob's,
mail me that purple dress. Size 6.

Marc Jacob said he wanted to reinvent the old New York but at night when he would go to clubs. I can definitely see that that edgy flare in these photos. The outfit in the first photo is simple and beautiful. The pants are so neat how they are loose at the top but are skinny at the bottom. Plus, the color is lovely. (AND I WANT THOSE SUNGLASSES.) The second outfit looks so edgy but fun and warm but classy... so many words to sue to describe it. He used much metallic in his line which seems to be very popular with the designers line this year. What do you expect from Marc Jacob? Your really don't know what to expect!
