El Ef ! ~ *

I know I know, I'm a bit late making a blog about one of LF's crazzzy 60 percent off deal! Who participated!?

For those who don't shop at LF or maybe never heard of it or just never ventured into the store, its a very trendy fashionista store. It defiantly defines the word "trendy" the way I feel it should be defined. Its nothing even similar to indie fashion or really not mod but a bit classy... They follow the designers latest trends from studs to fringe. They look over celebrities (such as Mary-Kate Olsen & Lily Allen) that wear certain brand names and whats "in" and they elaborate on it. Its really beautiful and interesting. LF is expensive but it is affordable in a sense because the store sells designer clothing and the best quality it can get. So with these 60 percent off deals, its really an amazing deal. TRUST ME. For those LF shoppers, YOU KNOW!

So any who,
I got the Jeffery Cambell shoes which are originally 200 and 60 percent off, 80. They are GORGEOUS. When you actually visualize them in person, they're perfffect. ;)

LF has a killer antique section of beaded and embroidered dresses that are to die for. I can spend forever looking at them. They are truly magnificent. I was thinking, if I WERE to go to prom, I'd wear one. Ugh, they're so pretty.
Check out the lookbook below. It's from fall 09 but you can really get the concept of the store and everything by checking it out!

Whose a fan of antique Jewelry?!

ME ME ME

PhotobucketPhotobucket

The girls from work and I know of this adorable little store that sells the cutest antique jewelry, shoes, belts, clothing, purses ect. Its so so so cute and the women working in there are so sweet! It just adds to the whole beautiful environment of the store. Its' kind of expensive for a thrift store. The bottom earrings were 4 dollars which were probably one of the cheapest pair. Most of them were about 7 to 10 dollars. They sold some jewelry thats very pricey along with other things. They have beautiful shoes but you have to go at the right time and grab'em! A girl I work with bought a beautiful pair of lace boots, cream, tie up. I'll take a picture of them and show you guys. More photos to come gooood night

P.S.
18 years of existence in 2 days, plus New York for 5 days. Can't wait!

WOAH.. WHAT!

Watch this and tell me exactly what you think about it! This was so beautiful, I don't think I blinked once while watching it. Chanel Spring 2010. I think more designers should do events like this in their shows. People would remember the clothing more and how could you not like the clothing? To me, Chanel never changes- and for once I mean that in a good way. It stays so classy and feminine yet every collection and show are different. I don't know how to explain it but I'm always pulled to watch the new collections because I know they will leave me shocked. Watch and comment!

(The first two dresses, oh my goodness, so marvelous. And pay attention to the shoes!)

so so so beautiful

So I went to my friends show last night in Miami and completely became inspired not only by the music, but by all the beautiful people I was surrounded by, along with their open personalities. It was beautiful and to be completely honest I havent felt connected to a group of strangers in a while.
I noticed all the girls wore black opaque or sheer pantyhose. Some with dresses, others with shorts. South Florida actually got a cold front last night hmph. I wore a high waist skirt, crop top and knee highs to keep my legs warms! Plus a simple black cardigan.
Although, one of my new favored recent styles is relaxed "unisex" pants on girls. Most girls aren't into because they don't think its flattering and blah blah blah, I've heard it, I've believed it but you can really make it look feminine.

One of my favorite designers, Chole', designed some in her spring 2010 RTW collection. Although there not unisex, they are relaxed pants for women.

I love it... you can roll up the legs too, thats what I do sometimes. Here are the unisex ones from American Apparel..

With a beautiful blouse tucked in and heels.. or even a fitted sweater tucked in.. I love enjoy seeing more girls wearing pants like these! COMMENTS!

BOY'S THERE.. HOW MANY?

Who enjoys looking at Menswear? Who likes looking at the men models? Tehe, Menswear, is always entertaining to watch. It's always beautiful men in beautiful clothing, of course.
Something interesting I saw was Micheal Kor's had mean and women sharing the catwalk together, matching.

This one was one of my favorites because red and black complement each other so well. The whole sheek business look will never die.

This look is beyond beautiful. Gray's never looked so elegant. The windbreaker on the blazer makes the whole style look more outerwear rather than business wear and same goes for the girls hat. Looove it.

Living in Florida, it actually went down to the 30's here and snowed for the first time in about 10 years but only in upper Florida. Although there was frost on my car :) I'm not really repaired for THAT cold of wear, living in Florida but I bought these two circle scarves from my work ! There very thick and keep you warmer than any scarf. They come in a variety of colors and patterns like stripes and even tydy! You can even wear it as a short tube-top dress when it warms up! http://store.americanapparel.net/rsa0503.html?cid=51

died & gone to heaven

Not really but according to my blog I probably did die ;( I've been crazy busy with work, school, college applications, the holidays and I've tired to maintain my social life -.- my computer is extremely slow and not functioning well so it was making it difficult to do anything online
BUT NOW
I have a new job at American Apparel (still located in south florida), since the holidays are over I'll be working a little bit less and have less family responsibilities. I'm halfway done with school and its all a move ride to graduation from here and college apps are sent in! Also, the old slow computer is gone and I got a beautiful Macbook for Christmas! What I'm getting at is that I have much more time now, so it looks like this blog is back up!

I got this wonderful book:

I'm sure most of you are familiar with it-- I've always wanted and ment to get it, but you know me, where does the time go..
But its very beneficial with your planning on taking on photography, fashion design, fashion marketing, journalism/blogging as a career. Highly recommended
